The Circle of Elders (Womimila Wakan Ki Na) – Tom Frederick – One Time Class - $20

According to Lakota belief, every culture (Black, Asian, Caucasian, Indian) were given the Sacred Keys to Spiritual Awareness that connects the very essence of us all. Drawing In the Spirit – Nancy Smith – One Time Class - $80 prepaid

No experience necessary!  This class explores creating visual messages from Spirit and Spirit guides. Ever see your messages from spirit and then try to describe it? Would you like to try your hand at drawing your messages?  The first part of the class is a facial anatomy lesson for portrait drawing. Journey Through the Chakras – Steve Coburn – One Time Class - $25

Using the pure sounds of Crystal Healing Bowls, Steve Coburn will guide you on a journey through the Chakras. We will discuss the location, purpose and issues associated with these energy centers within the body, how they relate to living this life, as well as explore vibration, breath, color, and other ways to stimulate the energies. Journeying Circle – Bill Bean – One Time Class - $30

For this workshop, I will open with a brief lesson on the roots and origins of Shamanism, the roles and purpose of the Shaman within various ethnic communities, and tribes throughout history. I will explain the purpose of the drum, how it is used to attune our inner energies, and our spirits to the energies of other realms and planes of energy, and how it can be used to tune the mind through brain wave synchronization to achieve a deep state of meditation. I will be explaining the purpose of journeying in order to contact our guides guardians teachers and masters in our spirit energy state in order to gather information and/or to facilitate healing. I will ask the participants to prepare a question in their mind which they would like to ask whom ever they may contact during a journey. I will answer any questions or concerns that the participants may have before the start of the journey. For the actual journey I usually do not prepare or rehearse how I intend the journey to go. I leave that entirely up to spirit and open myself up to what ever spirit, or my guides believe will be most beneficial to the participants. I use several methods for journeying, including upper world journey, and lower world journey. For this type of workshop I will probably be using an upper world type of journey as it is usually easier for the participants to visualize themselves in spirit form during this type of journey. I will also probably be using an "open air" visualization for the participants, as there are people who I have found can have difficulty envisioning themselves with in a closed space comfortably. With the "open air" type of journey I generally will bring them up a mountainside to a place where they can step off and ascend through various planes, realms and dimensions. I begin the journey with a meditative relaxation as preparation, and then use a drum rhythm and guided visualization to assist the participants in obtaining the best possible journey for their individual needs. At the end of the journey I go through a very structured descent and return and a thorough grounding process and make sure that each individual participant is fully back within their physical bodies and fully back within the earth realm. I will then encourage the participants to share their individual experiences on their journeys with the advice to avoid disclosing anything personal in nature.

Shiatsu Acupressure for Lightworkers, Bodyworkers, and Nurses – Bobby Canty – One Time Class - $90

Shiatsu is one of Japans three legally recognized forms of manipulative therapy. The Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare defines Shiatsu therapy as” a form of manipulation administered by the thumbs, fingers, and palms, without the use of any instrument, mechanical or otherwise, to apply pressure to the human skin, correct internal malfunctioning, promote and maintain health and treat specific diseases”. The Ministry lists over two hundred medical problems for which Shiatsu is a primary treatment modality. In this class we will be opening the door into Shiatsu therapy just enough to peek in. The study of Shiatsu is a lifelong pursuit. We will try and fit as much of that life into our seven hours together as we possibly can. This class will serve too as an introduction to the beauty of Classical Chinese medical theory. 

Shiatsu is the Japanese form of a bodywork system that has its roots in Classical Chinese Medicine. Shiatsu practitioners use the same meridians and acupoints as an acupuncturist.  Originally called Moshou (hand rubbing) in the third century b.c.e., Anmo (press and stroke) in the second century b.c.e. and Tuina (lift and grasp) during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1664 c.e.) mastery of bodywork was the first requirement of anyone wishing to study Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine arrived in Japan with the visit of the great Buddhist priest/doctor Gan Jin Osho in 552c.e. Oriental bodywork in Japan has been refined and developed into an extraordinarily effective method of treating illness and maintaining radiant health.

In this class we will focus on sugi momi (meridian treatment). We will identify the paths of the meridians, the major tsubos (wells or openings) along these pathways and their function, and the relationship between the meridian and its corresponding organ.

Shiatsu Share is a program that gives people without prior experience a chance to learn and experience Shiatsu.  In this class, people will pair off while Bobby leads them through a basic full body treatment after which they exchange places.  This is a wonderful introduction to Shiatsu.

Spirit Car Writing, Blindfolded Billets & Spirit Flame Messages – Rev. Hoyt Robinette & Rev. Gail Hicks – One Time Event - $144 prepaid

Spirit Card Writing is known as physical mediumship. Physical Mediumship  has been taking place for thousands of years and can be defined as "some physical action taking place."   Physical mediumship must be practiced in a controlled environment with supervision and safeguards.  In this particular demonstration a tightly woven basket will be used.  In it will be placed a pack of 3" x 5" index cards and a variety of pens and markers.  A lid will then be placed on the basket.  It takes from 30-45 minutes to complete.  The outcome is a beautifully pictured rendition of what Spirit wants the individual to have and on the flip side will be placed the names of several who reside in the spirit world, these will be either relatives or those called "guides". The picture carries a message which is meant to be interpreted by the recipient. 

Spirit Flame Cards are a 'smoked message' on an 5x7 index card. A lit taper candle is used and the medium holds it over the flame. The energy from the sitters and the medium is used to produce a design, symbol, image or sign. The card carries a message and can keep developing after the demonstration for the recipient. 

Blindfold Billet Reading is accomplished by having sitters to list on a piece of paper the names of some people who have passed into the Spirit world along with a question.  These will be collected and the medium will close his eyes, tape his eyes several times and then blindfold his eyes, rendering him blind.  He will then unfold and hold the billets and by using Psychometry, which is described as seeing or reading by touch, he will give greetings from those listed (and perhaps others) and a message or answer to the question.

For this workshop, I will be focusing primarily on Native American views and beliefs in regards to how they view creation. I'll be emphasizing the connection of everything in creation with and to everything else in creation. We will be discussing the difference between the "European belief system" of hierarchal domination with me and being at the top, and the views of most indigenous societies which place man as equal with and to everything else in creation. I will be including how life changed and beliefs were influenced by the European immigration to the United States. I will be including numerous Native American and other indigenous quotes, writings, speeches, and prayers which exemplify the traditional native belief system. I will also be discussing and encouraging participation how we can all raise our awareness of what is now accepted concerning the European views versus the logic of traditional Native American views. I will be emphasizing how much more balanced a "web of life" belief system is as opposed to a hierarchal belief system, and how much more balanced and beneficial this belief system is to all creation. I will be discussing the Native American belief that mother Earth will herself create a great cleansing to restore balance if humankind cannot find a way to do it themselves. Included will be the Native American traditional ceremony of thanking the four directions, mother Earth and father sky and I will be explaining the connection to all these things for Native Americans. I will also be discussing the difference between the concept of Native American spirituality and traditional religious systems.
